Hello Sequoyah Families,
In order to ensure the safety of students and drivers during pick up and drop off, the City of Russellville has developed a new traffic flow pattern to be used only during school pick up and drop off.
In the back parking lot area of Sequoyah Elementary, off of Sequoyah Way, the entering and exiting flow will be changing due to traffic safety issues.
This new traffic flow procedure will begin Monday, November 27th, 2023.
Entering the back parking lot:
Cars entering on the east side of Sequoyah Way road will now be required to continue straight and go through the roundabout on 16th street. This means there will be no right turns off of Sequoyah Way to enter the back parking lot. Cars will now use the new left turning lane to enter the parking lot.
Exiting the back parking lot:
Cars exiting the parking lot will be required to turn right out of the parking lot.
