We are happy to report that Sequoyah was one of 52 schools to score in the top 5% of the state based on academic performance and growth during the 2014-2015 school year. In addition, for the third year in a row, Sequoyah was recognized by the State for academic achievement and growth through a Reward & Recognition Program and received over $45,600, which was spent on Chromebooks for 3rd and 4th grade to become 1:1. In addition, 3D printers and iMacs were purchased for student use. Remaining funds will help develop our STEAM (maker space) room and further support our STEAM initiative.
