Dear RMS Families:
To encourage good attendance, grades, and behavior, we are allowing our students to participate in a field trip to Russellville UEC Theater to watch Disney’s Strange World or Lyle Lyle Crocodile. Students get the choice of which film they want to watch. Please make sure you fill out the Google Form that was sent to your student's email to select which film you would like to watch.
For students to participate, they must meet the following criteria:
- Cannot miss more than three days this nine weeks
- Three tardies equal an absence.
- Medical with a doctor’s note will not count against them.
Must not have below a 70% in any class.
If a student has a 69% or 68% and the teacher believes he/she has given 100% effort and completion of all materials for that class, the administration has the option to review.
- Must not have any ISS or OSS suspensions during that time or more than three submissions of lunch detention
Students who do not meet these requirements will remain on campus during their grade-level time. The trip will be during the first few hours of that grade level’s assigned morning. The remainder of the day will run like a traditional school day.
Dates will be:
- 6th Grade-Dec 14
- 7th Grade-Dec 15
Students must arrive at school on time and ride with the school to the theater. Students cannot be dropped off at the theater.
